Help Utah kids get the education they need

The Utah Fits All program has changed the lives of 10,000 kids this school year. Recipients of the scholarship have been able to access education opportunities they never dreamed of – whether that be attending a school where they feel safe and are academically challenged or creating a custom home school program that allows them to explore their passion for engineering, creative writing, or visual arts.

Though there is much to celebrate about this landmark program, there are still 17,000 kids on the waiting list hoping to receive a scholarship.

State funding is limited this year, but lawmakers are working to expand this program so that more kids get off the waiting list and into the education that is right for them. It’s time to make our voices heard by thanking legislators for this program and asking them to please allocate more funding in this year’s budget.

I’ve watched friends who received the scholarship access education opportunities they never thought possible. I’m thrilled for them and I hope to one day have the same opportunity for my kids.

Dear [Representative/Senator _______,]

I am writing to thank you for your continued support of the Utah Fits All program. This scholarship has already changed the lives of 10,000 children across the state this school year. It has given these students the opportunity to thrive by enabling them to access an education that is tailored to their unique needs. For many, it has opened doors to a brighter future.

However, despite the success of this program, there is still a significant challenge: there are currently 17,000 children on the waiting list, hoping for the chance to receive a scholarship that could provide them with the same opportunities.

While I understand that state funding is limited this year, I ask you to consider the long-term benefits of investing in these students. By providing more scholarships, we are not only helping children today, but we are investing in the future workforce of our state—one that is educated, skilled, and prepared to contribute meaningfully to our communities.

I urge you to do everything within your power to help get more children off the waiting list and ensure they have the same access to a quality education. The Utah Fits All program is a vital resource, and with your support, we can change the trajectory for even more kids in our state.

Thank you for your consideration, and for your continued commitment to the children of Utah.

Sincerely,
[Your Full Name]
